She keeps signing me up
With no end in sight

We strive together ...
a mad dash for the finish
Where are your manners?

Appreciation
Warm soup after the A. T.
A 3 minute nap

Rocks whiz underfoot
Breathing deeply the fresh air
Blowing through my lungs

The hot shower care
I will stay with you always
Unless hunger calls
