Directions:

1. Head out of Isaac Newton Square South, crossing Wiehle Avenue towards McDonald’s.
2. Go right on the sidewalk & then left on the W&OD path.
3. Cross Sunset Hills Road and later cross Sunrise Valley Drive and turn right onto path along Sunrise Valley Drive.
4. Pass Cross School Road on your left.
5. Follow path across Barton Hill Road, away from Sunrise Valley Drive, into woods.
6. Path goes up a long, steep hill behind Thoreau Place Senior Citizens’ condo.
7. Go straight through South Lakes Drive tunnel. Follow sidewalk past Safeway and around to the ramp opposite the shopping center entrance.
8. Follow ramp down towards lake. Make a sharp right at the bottom of the ramp.
9. Stay on path, not sidewalk. Cross road to stay on path going between lake and townhouses.
10. Path goes right, away from lake. Cross Lakeport to asphalt path to head left on Sunrise Valley Drive.
11. Pass swimming pool. Cross Upper Lake Drive to continue on asphalt path.
12. Cross Headlands Circle. Continue on path through woods. At Upper Lake Drive (again) turn right onto sidewalk and walk towards Sunrise Valley Dr.
13. Turn left on Sunrise Valley Drive. Stay on sidewalk.
14. Cross Sunrise Valley Drive at light at Wiehle Avenue.
15. Cross Wiehle Avenue and turn right along the sidewalk, passing over the Dulles highways.
16. Cross Sunset Hills Drive.
17. Left on Isaac Newton.
