Directions:

1. Start in Spectrum parking lot near Romano's Macaroni Grill. Walk towards Barnes and Noble.
2. Go through tunnel under Reston Parkway; turn left on pathway immediately after tunnel.
3. Follow pathway through development, crossing Wainwright, past ballfield.
4. Stay on path crossing Wainwright Drive again and down hill.
5. Follow main path curving left at marker 12 to cross bridge #12.
6. Right at Y intersection (at wooden fence) to pass marker 14.
7. Cross under North Shore Drive. Bear right after underpass.
8. At marker 16, turn right to go uphill and away from lake & bridge. Follow cement sidewalk where it curves left in front of townhouses.
9. At marina area, turn right [away from lake]. Follow path under Fairway and left uphill to North Shore Drive across from Lake Anne Elementary School.
10. Left at cement sidewalk along North Shore Drive.
11. Left on path just before Clubhouse Road; do not cross road.
12. Continue along path as it turns left. Take first right; golf course will now be on left. Cross bridge #87. Head toward clubhouse.
13. At T intersection by clubhouse, turn left; continue around building.
14. Bear left in front of Stimpmeter sign at first tee to walk between practice putting green and gazebo.
15. Bear right around stone wall and continue bearing right at Y to follow RA path [marked by Reston Association sign]. Golf course will be on your right, town houses on left.
16. Right at street (North Shore Drive). Right on cement sidewalk. Left to go in front of unit #11773. Parking area will be on left, townhouses on right.
17. Follow parking area roadway out to N. Shore Drive. Turn right and walk on grass along N. Shore Drive for about 1 block.
18. Cross North Shore Drive at Ivy Oak intersection and walk on asphalt path along N. Shore Drive for a short distance.
19. Left to walk across basketball court.
20. Left at cement sidewalk. Cross parking lot roadway to pick up asphalt path.
21. At last lamppost, just before asphalt ends at T, turn right and follow worn, dirt path up to asphalt path. Turn left on asphalt path.
22. Right on old Reston Avenue.
23. Left on Temporary Road.
24. Right on Reston Parkway; cross Temporary Road; continue on asphalt path along Reston Parkway.
25. Left to go through tunnel under Reston Parkway and back to Spectrum parking lot.
