Directions To The Water Stations Of

"Lake Anne Village Center (LAVC)- 17 miles" Course

Getting by car to your station and to the start/finish (S/F) location

Use the following time allotments as a guideline to get to the station's location, setup the station and, as applicable, continue to the S/F station assuming you start at Reston Pkwy at the Dulles Access Rd:

• S/F station - 10 minutes
• 2nd station - 20 minutes
• 3rd station - 30 minutes

Use the following time allotments after the run's start as a guideline to clear the station:

• S/F station - 204 minutes
• 2nd station - 136 minutes
• 3rd station - 169 minutes

The S/F station is located at the LAVC's parking lot at North Shore Dr and Village Rd. It will be used three times.

1. Take Reston Pkwy north and turn right (east) on Temporary Rd.
2. Turn left (north) onto North Shore Dr and continue to Village Rd.
3. Turn right (east) into the Lake Anne Village Center parking lot.
4. Set the station along the west curb situated at the NW (interior) section of the parking lot (not adjacent to the stores).

The 2nd station is located 1 block east of the corner of Sunrise Valley Drive and Reston Pkwy. It will be used twice (at ~ 2.5/10.5 miles).

1. Take Reston Pkwy south and turn left (east) on Sunrise Valley Dr.
2. Turn left at the first intersection to the International Center.
3. Set the water station along the sidewalk of Sunrise Valley Dr.

1. Go west on Sunrise Valley Dr and turn right (north) to Reston Pkwy and then follows the directions to the S/F station above.

The 3rd station is located along the W&OD trail east of Wiehle Ave. It will be used twice (at ~ 5.5/13.5 miles).

1. Take Reston Pkwy north and turn right (east) on Sunset Hills Rd.
2. Turn left to Wiehle Ave and then turn an immediate right to the Pizza Hot lot.
3. Set the water station on top of the picnic tables along the W&OD trail.

1. Take Wiehle Ave north and turn left (west) to North Shore Dr.
2. Continue passed the golf course and Lake Anne Elementary School to Village Rd.
3. Turn right (east) into the Lake Anne Village Center parking lot.
