"Lake Anne Village Center (LAP)- 15 miles" Course

Getting by car to your station and to the start/finish (S/F) location

Use the following time allotments as a guideline to get to the station's location, setup the station and, as applicable, continue to the S/F station assuming you start at Reston Pkwy at the Dulles Access Rd:

• S/F station - 20 minutes
• 2nd station - 35 minutes
• 3rd station - 40 minutes
• 4th station - 35 minutes

Use the following time allotments after the run's start as a guideline to clear the station:

• S/F station - 180 minutes
• 2nd station - 38 minutes
• 3rd station - 87 minutes
• 4th station - 153 minutes

The S/F station is located at LAP's parking lot off the Twin Branches Rd entrance to the lake. It may be used 3 times (at 0/10/15 miles).

1. Take Reston Pkwy south and turn left (east) on Sunrise Valley Dr.
2. Turn right (south) at South Lakes Dr.
3. Turn left (east) to Twin Branches Rd and turn right (south) to the Lake Audubon parking lot.
4. Set the station at the curb in front of the entrance to the pool.

The 2nd station is located at the Southgate Recreational Area at the east side of Pinecrest Rd between South Lakes Dr and Glade Dr. It may be used once (at ~3 miles).

1. Take Reston Pkwy south and turn right (west) on South Lakes Dr.
2. Turn left (south) on Pinecrest Rd.
3. Turn left (east) at the Southgate Recreation area (by the tennis/basketball courts).
4. Set the station besides the trail on the south side facing the tennis/basketball courts.

1. Go south on Pinecrest Rd and turn left (east) to Glade Dr.
2. Proceed to the end of Glade Dr and turn left to Twin Branches Rd.
3. Turn left (west) to LAP's parking lot.

The 3rd station is located on the Glade Nature trail east of its intersection with Steeplechase Dr next to the under-road culverts. It may be used once (at ~7 miles).

1. Take Reston Pkwy south and turn left (east) on Glade Dr.
2. Turn right (south) to Colts Neck Rd and then turn left (east) to Steeplechase Dr (by Hunter Woods Elementary School).
3. Go passed Triple Crown Rd and proceed straight to the intersection with the Glade trail. Make a U-Turn to position the car on the east side of Steeplechase
4. Set the station at the side of the trail away from the stream near the under-road culverts

1. Go back (north) to the intersection of Steeplechase and Triple Crown Rd
2. Turn right (east) on Triple Crown Rd and turn right (east) on Glade Rd.
3. Proceed east on Glade Rd to Twin Branches Rd.
4. Turn left (west) to Twin Branches Rd and turn left (south) to LAP's parking lot.

The 4th station is located along the E side of Soapstone Dr next to the entrance of the Domino Pizza shopping center. The station may be visited once (at ~12.5 miles).

1. Take Reston Pkwy south and turn left (east) on Sout Lakes Dr.
2. Turn right (south) to Soapstone Dr and then turn left (east) to the shopping center.
3. Set the station along Soapstone Dr.

1. Proceed north on Soapstone Dr and make a right (east) to South Lakes Dr.
2. Turn right (east) on Twin Brances Rd.
3. Turn right (south) to the LAP parking lot.
