Interval Training Program for 2008
Wednesdays,  June 11 - August 27, 2008 (12 sessions), 6:30 - 8:00PM

Location: Herndon Middle School Track, 901 Locust Street  Herndon, VA 20170
Training Tips from ITP Coach, Cindy Carlyle
The most significant areas in recovery and regeneration aside from nutrition are stretching, icing, massage, and sleep. Athletes should know that the only time your body actually gets stronger is when you are resting and recovering from a work out and most of the repair occurs while you sleep. Long term good sleep patterns and consistency are likely the most underrated part of an athletes training program.
Other ways to decrease general aches and pains are: good stretching, icing routines, and massage. All help flush some of the toxins out of the muscles and prevent stiffness.
