The Reston Runners has a few real estate agents, and Keith Whited is a pretty good one, that's for sure
He wanted to advertise his profession to the public; like a fisherman choosing the perfect lure
Keith bought a little moving van; so home buyers could move for free
He had his smiling face put on both sides of it; for all the world to see
Then he brought the van out for this weekends training runs, with a soup kitchen set up inside
So chilly runners could step aboard, for breakfast, with Karen as their guide
Big pots of soup steamed on a propane grill, just inside the roll up door
And a table was set with bagels, cream cheese and fresh fruit; could you ask for anything more?
This morning as I entered the rolling restaurant, I found Dave enjoying some soup so, I got some and, said hi to Mary Ann
Ed and Helen, Will, Dennis, Liz and Al, joined Jon and Debbie; it was getting hard to find a place to stand
Anna and Diane covered their legs with packing quilts and got cozy with others along the wall
Then we all sat and chatted like always, until Karen announced , "last call"
Now my final thought on Keith's kind, generous and novel way, he brought breakfast to us today
His "open house" on wheels was a first class act and, appreciated all the way
