Ten for Ten

Anna and nine of us Reston Runners tried out a new ten mile course today which we enjoyed like a kid with a brand new toy
Dennis, our "Run Route Developer" thought that his latest creation was one that we all would enjoy
Will, Ed, Carol, and Leslie were GPS equipped, so our mileage we always would know
Those devices are a great idea on a new run, as they help you learn as you go
Neil and I talked Shad fishing as we navigated toward Leesburg Pike
How about those hills on the parkway Jon; wouldn't they be much easier on your bike?
In a short while we had reached Dranesville Tavern, which we circled and started to retrace
Back up the parkway to Whiele; was that Tim who picked up the pace?
A left on Whiele this time, then onto Reston Parkway and one more hill
Then a short sprint back to Manhattan Bagel, where job one was stomachs to fill
So what's the bottom line on this new ten mile course, compared to the rest that we run?
It's a fun run with hills from beginning to end and probably best run with winter sun
