When we think of the word, generosity, a name should come to our mind
A man who has made an art of feeding Reston Runners and walkers, with the tastiest things that he can find

You bet, we mark my calendars, because we know, that it's a must to be there
Because the spread he lays out, is absolutely well beyond compare

Of course, it's Jerry Lewis, of whom I speak and, Saturday, he worked his magic again
We just kicked off our shoes and, grazed at his tables, no one wanting the morning to end

Bagels with cream cheese, topped with salmon, tomatoes and, onions; are just a few things; enjoyed by all
There were dips, candies, and plenty of coffee; in a word, we were having a ball

Well, after a couple of hours of eating and visiting which, in most instances, would cause the troops to scatter
However, in such a comfortable setting, some of us hung on and, continued to fill Jerry's home with our chatter

Eventually we did say farewell to Jerry and, collected our remaining shoes
As far as I am concerned, his breakfast is most certainly a good reason, to keep paying my Reston Runners membership dues
