With hastily prepared rules, and teams formed up, off toward Herndon they ran
Occasional stops were made at the fountain, where the watery orbs were tossed cross the mote
And more than a few fell into the drink, and were retrieved when they failed to float
Oh, yes, there were circles made round the Town Center too, with Marshals giving grades now and then
Each team with their strategy for succeeding, not knowing or caring what they'd win
Well eventually the competition came to a close, then the marshals huddled to choose the best
