A potluck breakfast was had at Connie's place, this morning after the five mile run

Pair after pair of running shoes at her front door welcomed us in for some Reston Runners fun

The warmth of good friends gathered on the deck helped you forget the morning chill

And the buffet table brimming with fresh fruits and pastries really filled the bill

We talked and ate and refilled cup and plate, until it was time to depart

A clean up was done then we left one by one, thanking Connie for her really big heart
