Nine intrepid Reston Runners traveled down to Virginia Beach over Labor Day weekend to compete in the Rock 'N' Roll Half Marathon.  We met at a local eatery on Saturday night to "carbo load", hey any excuse to wolf down some pasta!  Sunday morning dawned bright and clear with  temps in the mid to upper 60s, low humidity and a nice stiff 8-11 mph breeze out of the east. Karen L, Keith W, Suzanne S, Kevin S, Norman H, Jarrett, Joe and his daughter Joan all toed the start line while Hiroko and her trusted crutches enthusiastically cheered us on and Reese S was spotted in bright green clothes as part of the Harbor Point Cheering Section who won the "Sun Trust Spirit Rockin the Course Award".

A few PRs were set (results may be viewed here  ) and a good time was had by all!  The rest of Sunday was spent lazing on the beach and dinner before the evening concert.
