Walking takes many forms. Whether you are interested in casual meandering, ultra events, or something in between, Reston Runners has a large and growing group of walkers that can form your base of support. We would also like to encourage race walkers to come our way. We need you.
Reston Runners encourages walking as a great way to improve fitness in an atmosphere of friendly group support. Walkers can print written directions for all planned walks from our the schedule page of our Web site. Most walking courses can be covered comfortably in 45-50 minutes. A large group of walkers meets every Saturday at the time and place listed on the Club schedule. We're also building interest in organized longer (6-mile) walks at the Sunday scheduled locations.
Some walkers get together for additional outings during the week. Suggestions often appear on the home page of the Reston Runners Web site.
