Approximately 93 runners (at least six of these ran early) showed up at Lake Fairfax Park for the 17-mile road/trail run.
The weather was cloudy, 65
degrees, and 85 percent relative humidity at the start. Anna Bradford's silver tongue convinced at least 50 souls to run the trail versus the road.
The trail was a bit muddy, but it was great fun. After the run, many of us headed to the Hunt Club for coffee and desserts left over from the picnic on
Saturday .

A great day for running long—temperature in the low 70s, reasonable humidity, and no direct sun! Star\ting at 7AM at the Hunters Woods Village Center, about 70 of us launched our bodies into some multiple (up to 3) of the so-called “Fritzbe loop” of, roughly, 6-miles. The lower than usual number of runners was due in part to the draw of the Annapolis 10-miler being run today; no early-start run groups were known to be out there this morning.
