- Start at path at back of pool parking lot for about 1/4 mile.
- Right at "T" intersection of paths for about 1/8 mile.
- Right on path behind townhouses for about 50 yards.
- Right on Soapstone Drive along sidewalk for 2 blocks.
- Right on asphalt path into woods after crossing Golf Course Square paralleling Soapstone Drive for over 1/2 mile.
- Left at "T" intersection of paths and through Soapstone Drive underpass.
- Right on path immediately after underpass for about 1/4 mile.
- Right at raised manhole cover for about 100 yards.
- Continue on path under South Lakes Drive [alternative start at South Lakes High School at west end of parking area].
- Bear Right continuing about 1/4 mile on path to 7/11 store.
- Left on path at 7/11 for 50 yards.
- Right on path under Soapstone Drive for about 50 yards.
- Left on path at "T" intersection for about 1/4 mile to Glade Pool parking lot.
- Continue on path into woods across Glade Drive about 50 feet right of Glade Pool parking lot entrance [alternative start at Glade Pool on Glade Drive near Soapstone Drive].
- Bear Right through the next three path intersections for 1 mile.
- Right on path just before Steeplechase Drive, crossing narrow bridge and continuing for about 1/3 mile.
- Right on Colts Neck Road sidewalk for 0.2 miles [alternative start at Hunters Woods Elementary School].
- Right on path into woods after elementary school.
- Right on path at bottom of steep hill.
- Continue on path under Glade Drive.
- Left on path uphill and on sidewalk beside parking lot into Hunters Woods Village Center.
- Right downhill on path near Lutheran Church entrance for about 1/8 mile.
- Right at "T" intersection at bottom of hill for 25 yards.
- Left on path across bridge continuing uphill for 0.4 miles to Colts Neck Road.
- Right across South Lakes Drive at signal.
- Right on path on other side of South Lakes Drive for 0.2 miles.
- Left on path across golf course.
- Continue on path another 0.4 miles to Start at Newbridge Pool
