Join us for the annual Thanksgiving Day 5K Trail Run at Lake Fairfax Park—your chance to kick off the holiday with fresh air, good company, and a little adventure.

The starting line sits just across the main road from the park’s main parking lot. We encourage advance registration, but race-day sign-ups are absolutely welcome. Just plan to arrive by 8:30 AM so you can get checked in before the run begins at 9:00 AM with your friends, family, and fellow turkey-trotters.

This event is completely free—a gift from Reston Runners to the community. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we invite you to help support local families facing food insecurity. If you’re able, please bring non-perishable, unexpired food items to donate to area food banks. (Kindly avoid glass containers.)
